LOYOLA UNIVERSITY CHICAGO, Chicago, Illinois, 2006-Present
Instructor
In my spring 2007 UCWR 110 course, students will study the texts and contexts which govern their experience of education. We will evaluate what it means to be in college in the 21st century. Additionally, we will look at what it means to study at an expressly ideological institution like Loyola Chicago (a Catholic, Jesuit university) and how that ideology is expressed or concealed in institutional texts.Teaching Assistant
I assisted a Fall 2006 UCWR 110 class taught by Dr. Vicky Anderson. Duties included teaching select sections on thesis development, MLA citation style, and paper revision strategies. I also assisted with individual student consultation and grading papers.
